How to switch
from Color.io to PresetCan.
There is no project import. Keep an original or an export you already saved, open it in PresetCan, rebuild the look and export a new JPEG or PNG. Video grades and 3D LUTs do not come along.

Questions
Can I recover or move my Color.io projects?
The shutdown announcement said accounts and cloud projects would be deleted. PresetCan cannot recover that data or import Color.io project files. Start from originals or exports you already saved.
Does PresetCan support RAW photos?
Yes, supported RAW files decode in your browser. The file limit is 40 MB and RAW decoding is limited to 32 megapixels. If a camera format fails, develop it elsewhere and open a JPEG or PNG.
Can I create or export 3D LUTs?
PresetCan currently exports finished JPEG or PNG photographs, not 3D LUTs. Keep a dedicated LUT tool if you need to move grades into a video editor.
Do I need an account, and what does it cost?
Sign-in is required to edit. Free JPEG and PNG export uses a 2048 px long edge. Pro and AI credits are separate and are not included in one another; check PresetCan pricing for what is actually on sale.
Is this a Color.io alternative for still photos only, or for video too?
PresetCan is for still photographs. If the work is video grading or moving LUTs into an editor timeline, keep a dedicated video tool. Use PresetCan when the file you want to finish is a photo.
